Sony CMT-MX550I

The Sony CMT-MX550i is a elongated rather nice audio unit, it has DAB and FM radio, tray CD player, external audio in as well as the ability to play iPod and iPhone and to cap it off it can also play input from a USB stick drive for good measure.

Got this on a lightning deal for £134.79, what a bargain.Replaced old Sony mini disc Hi-Fi.Sound quality from every function is superb.Was expecting to bye an aerial for the DAB, but no need as the one supplied worked a treat.

Had this hifi for about a year now. Works perfectly with my ipod touch. The speakers produce a great quality sound and was definetly worth the buy.

Set this up within 10 mins works as described & plays music from memory stick, very simple to use, only one gripe would be the length of power cord only about 1 meter long, but this can be overcome with the use of an extension lead. Sound is loud...

Clear, crisp sound. Very easy to set up. Gives our CDs a much better sound and the DAB radio reception is good. The aerial set up is very primitive ie a trailing wire.
