Cool design, efficient with space, good sound

Top loading mechanism and CD player are prone to breaking

this is a really nice unit. small,attractive,and best of all...the sound quality. I was impressed by the clarity and the bass response. For the price I paid, this product can't be beat.

This is a fantastic looking system - which sounds great for its compact size and price. However, the 'stylish' CD loading system broke down repeatedly - and after just 2 years it has was easier to replace the system than continue to get it repaired.

I was impressed by the design. Sony's always been great with design andcustomer service...or so I thought. It turns out that the complextop-loading CD mechanism and player break down consistently after a year. Mine went kaput just after the warranty...
