I cannot recommend this product. The black and white low resolution display is the biggest disadvantage of the unit. Firstly, it will take your eye several minutes to get used to the dark after getting white light from the display to your eye. When...

Compares reasonably to older 1st Generation NV.

Not a bad product for the scope, but the hype about being better than Gen2 really is exaggerated. Firstly, the resolution is about 400x300 pixels. Count em - it's not hard, just takes patience. That's like old Analogue TV - still very good, but older...

Cheap, well made, easy to use and fun

Can't really compete with a decent Gen2

Amazing especially for the price.

I was at first always kind of worried about getting a night optics thinking that it was just some expensive mockery that wasn't worth the money. Well I decided to buy this and just go for it, and was out right amazed and impressed. In complete darkness...

Impressive performance but not cheap

Bushnell Digital Stealth View 5x42 w/ Super Charged Infrared Monocular I purchased this scope in Canada; oddly enough when I went to order it from a US website they would not ship it here. The image is very bright and can be a bit blinding in a dark...

Last review = RUBBISH

I sell nightvision and for a while the biggest problem was ensuring the customer wasn't expecting to own what he saw in the last action movie he went to see.

Excellent Resolution, cheap for the performance, TV/VIDEO adaptable

Fairly narrow illuminator

It's not a binocular, it's monocular

It's not a binocular, it's monocular

There is only one eyepiece to look through! Any 1st generation 4x50 scope surpasses this cmos based camera. I don't recommend it for any use. The only advantage is video output and external power supply input. Don't buy it.

Infrared vision device

This monocular isn't really a light amplifying device like an image intensifier. It is essentially a B&W low-light CMOS camera, like you might find in a video security system, with an LCD display viewfinder and two infrared (IR) illuminators. Like most...

Clear B&W image, long distance IR spotlight, uses AA batteries

Viewfinder way too bright, spotlight doesn't fill view, not really low light device
