Canon 8 x 25 IS Binoculars are awesome for people who are looking for a fairly simple pair of binoculars that will remove blurring usually cause by hand shake. I would recommend them for even the novice or seldom used category because once you look...

Canon 8X25 Image Stabilized Optics

This replaced my free (company swag) Tasco 8X21 that I take to sports events and camping. No objective lens caps, but it does come with eyepiece caps and case. Stabilization is great, allowing me to focus on details that you could never see by...

Small, light, quick to focus on target. Can work without battery\stabilization as a regular 8X25 binocular. Standard binocular controls and features (main focus knob, right diopter, eye width adjustment, neck strap)

No objective lens caps. Battery size not so common. Costs 10 times the equivalent 8X21 non-stabilized set of binoculars. Size is about twice the size of equivalent binoculars

It does the job

It's easy to use, controls all the camera functions and with the diffuser provides good lighting for close subjects. The only disadvantage compared to Ikelite housings for similar cameras is that there is no wired strobe connection. But, adding an...

nice, but not as good as larger models

I own a 12x36 version of this binoc and was so impressed by it that I bought this smaller version for greater portability while hiking. It does not measure up to the larger model. The focus is very stiff making it difficult to fine tune, and the image...

Solid Performer

Not Leica or Ziess optical quality, but much more affordable .

Solid construction, easy to hold & adjust. Work well for eyeglass wearers. Great optics, easy to use clean & maintain. Have used mine from Alaska to Central America with satisfactory results in clear or salt water. Good strap & carrying case. Excellent...

Heavier than some others, but worth the extra weight in durability.

Don\'t forget the weights

The housing requires weights in order to dive (weights aren\'t needed if you\'re just going to use it in a pool or at the beach). Weights are ordered separately. I missed this detail, ordered mine too late, and didn\'t have them for my once-a-year...
