Good Value, Performs well

Mine also came with a case that can be put on a belt, a neck lanyard on the scope and a lens cleaning cloth. I like the rubber armoring, the wide viewing angle and the fact that I can almost lose it in my pocket.

I feel like a 21st century pirate!

I originally picked this up as an add-on. I actually use it more than my other monocular! It fits right on my belt, so I can take it to work. It came with a lens cleaning cloth. Maybe just me, but I love to use this!

LOVE 'EM!

I've had two of these for about two years now (car and house) and think it is the best monocular out there. I have them on neck lanyards (they weigh next to nothing) so as not to drop or lose them or have them stolen. Love to watch the hummingbirds up...

Great Sightings

I was looking for an inexpensive way to observe birds and butterlies with out having to carry binoculars around. Sometimes binoculars get heavy and also can be damaged in rough terrain. Carson's Close up Monocular is light and will focus up close to...

INCREDIBLE VALUE

For the money, I doubt you'll find a better deal or more useful monocular. So easy to carry...of course it will have its limitations on viewing aperture & magnification for distance but to be able to magnify an object about a foot away opens up a lot...

Weak Plastic

The product produces a clear image, and it focuses down close as well as far away. I am legally blind and I needed a replacement telescope. My original one was all steel, and this one is all plastic. I gave it to a child to look through. He tried to...

Very good for the cost

I purchased two different small monoculars, the Carson Close-up and a Brunton Echo. The Carson is a little smaller, and costs about half of the Brunton. Close focus for both monoculars is about a foot. I attempted to compare the optics of both of thee...

Want to see what a bug looks like?

I use it to see registration lines on a printer while it prints, works great. It can also see cool stuff up close without having to get too close. Good product, inexpensive

Exactly what I wanted

I wanted a small monocular to keep in the jeep. I ordered a couple of different inexpensive ones on amazon, this one is by far the superior one. Good optics, very close focus available and good distance magnification. This is not a replacement for a...

Decent optics for the price.

There are better monoculars out there, but not for this price. It's not going to give you as good as image quality as the offerings from Vanguard or Nikon, but it can hardly be expected to for the price difference. It does, however, have much better...
