Very good but...VERY heavy

I bought them 6 months ago. I've studied a lot of options before buying them. They are perfect for the sky amateurs. I knew they were heavy, i read a lot of reviews and i thought it wasn't a problem for me: yes, the big size is a BIG, VERY BIG problem....

Looking at the moon has never been more exciting. You can see all the craters and rough surfaces. Star Gazing at its best!

OK at regular magnification..

Not good

Too much magnification for sky viewing. The zoom is pretty much useless as well. These NEED to be mounted on a tripod to be used at all since they have so much magnification, if you try to just hold them in your hands it is impossible to hold still...

Good binoclars for the price - but the zoom isn't very useful.

Good binoclars for the price - but the zoom isn't very useful.

I'm happy with my purchase of these binoculars. The optics are fine and I've enjoyed looking through them. You must have a heavy duty tripod or they are useless - don't expect to hold them in your hands and get a steady view. As you zoom in the...
