Do Not compare to MIL standards NVD's , but GREAT for the money spent

OK ya should have included a battery, but no biggie. This is not a bad device FOR THE MONEY SPENT. Many people will say they want a flat field of view with a better depth of field, but remember it is a 150 buck NVD. The adjustments to focus and occular...

It definately works well.

I was researching night vision for a hunting friend who needed something to see in the dark shadows after the sun goes down, mainly to study antler size and count on potential trophy buck deer. It boiled down to the Night Owl 5 power night vision. I...

Great for the price point!

Simple to operate and allow you to cut through the darkness with clarity. My friends love it and constantly fight over who gets to use it. The hand strap does a good job of keeping the scope securely in your hand and aids in stability while viewing....

Night owl optics 5 power NOXM50 night vision monocular

Great optics

Didn't plan on much, but was surprised by the sensitivity and clarity of these optics. Reasonable price and well constructed. Only drawback is having to remove batteries between use. Should have a dedicated on/off switch.

The IR feature makes it serviceable

I know a few people who insist "Gen 1" isn't worth the money. They each work behind gun counters where they get to fondle the latest night vision devices. But I can actually cut through the darkness when I activate the IR feature. I'm happy with the...

It does what it says on the tin, and very well

I was able to watch feral cats roaming in a field behind my house in complete darkness. It has a bit of trouble focusing on things really close but beyond 5-10 feet everything looks great. Just a note: Once you turn it off, you may notice it appears to...
