Great product for the money

My 7x50\'s are ok most of the time but tend to fog-up sometimes. The 12x50 power should make Eagle watching more exciting. Possible steadiness problem with extra power but will get through it.

Bought these cos they are ideal for packing in the camera bag,or pocket. Perfect for bird watching, and travel. very clear, even in low light. A bargain at the price. The lens caps are a loose fit, but who leaves them on anyway.

Clear optics, easy to focus

Clear optics, easy to focus

I bought both the zoom and non-zoom. I find the non-zoom easier to focus and use while the zoom had to be refocused with every zoom. The image got darker when zoomed and it was easy to see black circles (eye gets out of line with the eyepiece). I...

Nikon Travelite V 12x25 Binocular

I bought these primarily for field work where I have to backpack in for the day. They are a tad to large for what I wanted, but I continue to use them as they bring in clear images and are light. An excellent choice for day trips and in thickly...

Light, bright, and right

Introduction: I already own Nikon Action 8 x 40 Binoculars that work really well and are in the same price range as these Travelite binoculars. BUT! The Action 8 x 40's are way too big and way too heavy and I found myself not carrying them outside...

Product Specifications

The new Travelite V series binoculars incorporate several new features designed to make them more user friendly while enhancing optical performance. Nikon Travelite V binoculars utilize precision ground, multicoated optics, and high index BaK4 prisms for true color rendition, maximum sharpness and enhanced light transmission. The new binoculars use aspherical eyepiece lenses which provide a very flat viewing field and offer markedly improved edge-to-edge sharpness over many conventional lenses. The new Travelite V features large, conveniently located central focus knobs and clicking diopters. Each model in the series features 25mm objective lenses for maximum light gathering. A new, ergonomically contoured, carbon-fiber body makes the Travelite V easy to use for long viewing sessions without physical fatigue. The lightweight body incases a rugged all-metal chassis and is covered with a durable black rubber armor that provides added shock resistance and a positive grip in slippery conditions.
