Good Starter Pair

I bought these binoculars for hunting and hiking. They perform well for amature uses. They are light weight and easy to transport over long distances. Very easy to use, and convient. For the price they are hard to beat.

Good clarity. No fogging. I love the variable zoom

Limited field of view. Not good during low light conditions

SO MUCH NICER THAN OUR OLD BINOCULARS

WELL WHEN IT WAS TIME TO GET A NEW SET OF BINOCULARS WE DID OUR RESEARCH ON THE INTERNET AND SAW THAT THIS PAIR WAS COMPACT, LIGHTWEIGHT AND HAD GOOD REVIEWS AND WAS AFFORDABLE SO WE ORDERED ONE. SURE ENOUGH, IT HAS BEEN GREAT. WE WATCH THE DEER IN THE...

Clear optics, easy to focus

Clear optics, easy to focus

I bought both the zoom and non-zoom. I find the non-zoom easier to focus and use while the zoom had to be refocused with every zoom. The image got darker when zoomed and it was easy to see black circles (eye gets out of line with the eyepiece). I...

Nikon Eagleview Binoculars

I have been conducting private investigations for over 20 years. All we do is surveillance. This of course demands quality equipment. I own several pairs of the high end Leica Binoculars, Canon Stabilizing Binoculars, and a host of expensive spotting...

Cannot beat these for quality, features, and ease of use

Could use a stabilizer for zooming over 10 X

Good but some flare

Light, bright, and right

Light, bright, and right

Introduction: I already own Nikon Action 8 x 40 Binoculars that work really well and are in the same price range as these Travelite binoculars. BUT! The Action 8 x 40's are way too big and way too heavy and I found myself not carrying them outside...

Nikon Travellite binocs

Nikon Travellite binocs

First of all, these binocs are very lightweight (but don't feel like a toy) and fold to jacket pocket size, a real plus. Optics also seem to be what I would expect from Nikon. Overall very satisfied for the price. Will probably also buy the higher mag...

Good Entry Level

Good Entry Level

Purchased for a relative and within a budget limit. for the price, the Nikon's are a good value but clearly not for a more serious user. As a birder, I have a Nikon Monarch- considerably more money and size but the best optics for the money.

Product Specifications

The new Travelite V series binoculars incorporate several new features designed to make them more user friendly while enhancing optical performance. Nikon Travelite V binoculars utilize precision ground, multicoated optics, and high index BaK4 prisms for true color rendition, maximum sharpness and enhanced light transmission. The new binoculars use aspherical eyepiece lenses which provide a very flat viewing field and offer markedly improved edge-to-edge sharpness over many conventional lenses. The new Travelite V features large, conveniently located central focus knobs and clicking diopters. Each model in the series features 25mm objective lenses for maximum light gathering. A new, ergonomically contoured, carbon-fiber body makes the Travelite V easy to use for long viewing sessions without physical fatigue. The lightweight body incases a rugged all-metal chassis and is covered with a durable black rubber armor that provides added shock resistance and a positive grip in slippery conditions.
