Couldn't be happier

After using a friends 8X Steiners I knew I had to get a pair for myself (just a bit more powerful). The resolution is crystal clear, the case and caps are solid and will last for quite a while. The neck strap is a bit thin so I'm looking for a new one...

Nice Optics but Failing "Rubber Armoring"

We like the optics of this pair of binoculars which offer a bright and well magnified image. Even viewing under low light conditions is fine. Another good feature is the autofocus with which the user only needs to adjust the eye diodes for all viewing....

still the best

They're still the best. My friends try to tell me how good their fancy Austrian binoculars are and I show them my trusty Steiner Military/Marines. They work better and are much more durable than any of those $1000+ Euro brands. Steiner rules in...

CAUTION - no image intensifier BEWARE

Steiner makes EXCELLENT optics, as do many manufacturers, but their "night hunter" series give the illusion that they have included a night vision system such as the an/pvs series of real gen II or gen III true image intensified night vision.

very high light transmission, rugged waterproof construction

poor value compared to alternate image stabilized technologies, very high price

I've owned this model of steiner binoculars for a little over 9yrs. During that time they have been from the tops of mountains to the bottom of death valley and most places in between, while being exposed to all the elements of nature during my...

Quality Image At The Price Of Weight

Weighing in at 36 ounces, the Military Marine 10x50 feels more like 36 pounds after a morning hunt in the woods. However, the image quality is excellent; you just need to consider your planned use before buying this binocular.

Bright and Clear Image

Auto focus doesn't work for everyone. Weight
