Looks well made and solid

 

Look well made and solid. Good protective case. Unfortunately as much as I liked them, I have had to send mine back to Steiner as there was a problem with the focusing mechanism (double image). Hence 3 stars. [...]. I look forward to getting them back...

Broke in the first week

 

Broke in the first week

I read some good reviews on these binoculars so I picked up a pair for my trip to Namibia. The lens broke the first week of the trip with no drops or any abuse at all. Now the lens wobbles and everything appears double. I'm not a fan.

These binoculars have a good contrast of colour and for the size of the object lens very good light in take.They represent good value for money and are an alternative to the more expensive brands of small binoculars

The Wildlife models are wrapped in a smooth, quiet, and non-reflective earthtone rubber armoring that makes them almost invisible to wildlife. At only 11 ounces the 10.5 x 28 Wildlife compact is the virtually the same weight as the model 8.5 x 26. When you need added power for long distance viewing but can't be weighed down, the 10.5 x 28 is an excellent choice. Fully multi-coated optics and phase corrected roof prisms provide excellent color reproduction with brilliant clarity. Fast and precise center focusing makes adjusting quick and easy. The 10.5 x 28 is waterproof and shockproof.
