Yamaha BD-S673

A decent enough Blu-ray player as long as you don't care about smart features

Nice design ; Good detail ; Balanced colours ; Decent dynamics

Less agile, detailed and refined sound than we’d like

This is a middling effort from Yamaha, which is a surprise given its prowess in other areas. The BD-S673 is a decent-enough player, as long as you’re happy with just a hint of smart content.

You can find other blu-ray players at this price range with more features, and better performance.

Decent features & nice looking unit wireless works well

This unit at times freezes on some functions, and requires a reboot to use. Some commands are slow to react. I've owned Yamaha products before, and was very happy with them. This unit falls way short of my past Yamaha purchases
