Good basic second Blu-Ray Player

Not my main Blu-Ray in my home theater, but my seconday room. This is much, much better than my dvd 1080p upscaler that I previously bought for the same price!

Price, Sync with your Aquos TV, decent specs

Ethernet acess does not update software automatically. You have to manually still download it on your computer then upload it to a 2.0 usb drive?! A real learning curve from the average dvd user. May turn off the new-be Blu-Ray user

Do Not Buy Sharp Blu Ray BD-HP210U

I received this as a gift...personally I would not have purchase a sharp product. I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Initially compared to my PS3 is was very slow to load...I could let that slide if everything else worked...but it didn't. Right out of...

None - If it doesn't play all the discs you put in it then the Pros don't really matter

Does not play about 1 in 5 Blu Ray disc "Cannot Read Disk

Don't buy this player

No problems. never upgraded firmware

I bought this in Jan 10 and to date it has performed well. I read the manual and found one of the settings that speed up the start up and gets the dvd to play the movie within 10 sec. I am not sure what is the problem others are experiencing, but you...

Recently purchased this Blue Ray player to go with my 52" Sharp LCD. Incredible picture quality. I highly recommend this product to anyone who demands product quality and at a great price.

Good blu-ray player

I have an Aquos LCD tv and like the Aquos link feature that automatically turns on the tv and switches the input when I turn on the player (or turns it all off when I turn off the player - since I don't have a universal remote). I haven't had any...

Newest firmware a revelation

Newest firmware a revelation

Other reviewers warn to stay away from this player, so I thought I'd balance things out with somewhat more positive comments. The trouble I had in the past with the BD-HP21U consisted of: 1) Inability to play certain discs 2) Slow to very slow...
