I have reverted to brand loyalty by buying the Panasonic and thus far have not been disappointed -- it does everything it's supposed to very efficiently and without a hitch. I very much like the Viera connectivity with my Panasonic TV which has meant I...

Panasonic DMP-BDT160

We like the low price of the DMP-BDT160, and we like the fact that it plays 3D disks and includes some Smart TV functions. But connectivity is very limited, with no Wi-Fi and no audio output. There's not much in the way of Catch-Up TV either.

I received the player promptly. When I took it out of the box I saw that two features I consider essential were missing: an optical (Toslink) output and an ethernet port. The only connections were the power cord and HDMI. There is nothing wrong with...

The DMP-BD85 offers only middle-of-the-road image quality and an ugly, confusing menu system, which together make this Blu-ray player a poor value.

Those after some specific apps, Wi-Fi, and both 2D and 3D Blu-ray, will find the DMP-BDT360 a simple to control and impressive machine. 2D-3D conversion works well and 4k upscaling is effective and adds a touch of future-proofing. Digital file handling...

Panasonic's entry-level Blu-Ray player costs about the same as LG's and Samsung's, but it does more, and it does it better. This is no bog-standard Blu-Ray player. It provides the best picture quality in its class, and top-notch audio too. It's a whiz...

It isn't particularly exciting, but it's good value: with both 2D and 3D Blu-ray sparkling, and even DVDs and YouTube videos upscaled nicely, this easy to use and nicely priced deck will do a decent enough job in most living rooms. Despite its rather...
