Panasonic's 2013 Blu-ray/HDD Freeview+ HD recorder, the DMR-BWT735, was an impressive PVR, Blu-ray player/burner and multimedia machine, although some functionality clashes counted against it.

First of all let me state that the picture quality from the 7200 is stunning from the various sources available (Blu-Ray to Netflix and Amazon streaming). Understand the digital path goes from the 7200 to a Denon AVR 400, thru a Darbeevision 5100, and...

The operating system in this Blu-ray player seems buggy. The player locks up from time to time and wont even respond to the off/on button.

This little Sony Blu-Ray player has a great picture quality with Blu-Ray movies, and what I perceive to be above average DVD upscaling. CD audio playback over HDMI is acceptable, as the Sony is only being used as a transport.
