LG Blu-ray Player BD530

I was able to upgrade this player to the BD.4.894.00 firmware by downloading that firmware from the BD550 unit, copying it to a USB stick and upgrading the player. It worked fine, and you end up with later firmware than by doing an online update.

Great movie for it's time, still fun to watch. The whole idea behind this movie was good, with the stealing of God's map and all, hahaha just great.

The box works fine for Netflix. The picture is clear and it is easy to setup. However you can't ad new channels like Amazon. Without being able to ad other streaming channels it is a waste of money
