LG BP450

The LG BP450 is a mid-range Blu-ray player which sits just below the BP550 in LG's 2015 line-up. It lacks that model's built-in wi-fi, but is virtually identical otherwise and offers internet access to smart-TV apps, using an ethernet cable connection....

" I think this blu ray player is great, it's a small/compact player so doesn't take up much space at all. The picture and sound quality I find to be really good. "

Performance and Conclusions The BDT220 is pretty speedy, averaging 24.8 seconds to load a non-BD-Live disc ( Ralph Bakshi's Wizards ), and 22.3 seconds for a BD-Live disc ( The Sound of Music 45th Anniversary Edition ).

Sony BDP-S6200

The BDP-S6200 has a decent smart TV apps package, excellent digital file support, and unquestionable quality in in both 2D and 3D Blu-ray disc playback. It is let down by a few things, most noticeably the unconvincing 4k upscaling.

Philips has created a thing of beauty with its 7 Series 3D Blu-ray deck. Finished in a greyish-silver and sporting a sculpted lip with illuminated soft-touch buttons, it's a real step up from the humdrum.
