Go with the newer Model: NS-WBRDVD2 with Auto Resume

Go with the newer Model: NS-WBRDVD2 with Auto Resume

This is a nice basic Blu-Ray player. I purchased it from Best Buy in February. As others have stated it lacks auto resume for DVD's and Netflix streamed movies. It has a built-in WiFi module. For the price it is difficult to beat. I gave away the...

Great video, but firmware has a lot of bugs.

Great video, but firmware has a lot of bugs.

So first I think this video quality for Blu-ray,DVD and Netflix streaming is excellent. This is because of the very generous cache they have to make sure that it can deal with even congested networks. No stuttering or anything. I cut the network off...

horrible

horrible

Everything on this player is ok, but it is very slow. My biggest problem is that it wont auto-resume. so everytime you turn off the dvd/blueray disc you have to start from the very begining not from where you left off. I am taking it back.

Complete Junk. Avoid.

Complete Junk. Avoid.

Bought the player, it worked to play a DVD then ate itself later that day. The screen wouldn't sync (picture was rolling) and my TV kept displaying resolutions and refresh rates that were way out of range. Returning to the store ASAP.

Insignia NS-WBRDVD

Insignia NS-WBRDVD

Brought the NS-WBRDVD as an open box item for under $100. BD movies look perfect and the Netflix streams without any lags. (Getting excellent wifi reading from G-router). My only issue is the remote is sluggish. Once all required firmware are...

Great picture and Wireless Netflix

Great picture and Wireless Netflix

This product is made by BestBuy (Insignia is BestBuy's house brand - kind of like generic products from the grocery store). What BestBuy saves by not putting a fancy Sony or Samsung label on the product gets passed on to you. Still, the player is...
