I would not recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a top of the line blu-ray player that is wireless. From reading the manual on the unit the 93 unit unit is far better then this is. I have read other people's reviews and they said that this...

there are no pros for this unit. I could not find any pros that I thought were mentioning

This unit is not wireless like blu-ray states it is. Lack of streaming capabilities on unit and streaming services. Unit is too expensive

Onkyo BD-SP809 review

Are claims of superior AV a good enough reason to invest in a £499/$599 Blu-ray player with few features besides 3D compatibility?

Low noise ; High quality HD ; Commendable DVD uscaling ; 3D-ready

Poor streaming otions ; Ugly user interface ; No IPTV ortal ; No Suer Audio CD ; DVD-Audio comatibility

Despite a good visual performance, the Onkyo BD-SP809 isn't a convincing mid-range audiophile option.

AV performance; twin HDMI outputs; build quality and design

No SACD or DVD-A playback; mismatched remote control; limited media streaming

Onkyo's flagship Blu-ray deck delivers knockout performance but lacks a couple of key features

Excellent build quality ; Crisp, polished pictures ; Some nifty features ; THX & DLNA certified

Plasticky remote ; Some streaming issues ; No Wi-Fi or hi-res audio support ; Slow loading of Java-heavy discs
