Panasonic DMP-BD10A

I've owned this blu-ray player since it was introduced and I've been getting more and more unhappy with it. Most recently , on November 18th '08, I went to play a First Look Pictures blu-ray movie and the disc wasn't recognized. I wrote Panasonic about...

Panasonic DMP-BD10A

After hours and hours of research I finally found a Blu-Ray player that fit my needs. The built in decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD High Resolution is probably the main reason for the purchase. I have a Denon AVR-3805 and I love the receiver and I...

Panasonic DMP-BD10A

I think this is a great player, sound comes through very well, picture is awesome. I think that remote is the biggest drawback, but you get used to it quickly. I am not bothered by having to get up and open the dvd player before changing the dvd, I...

great blu-ray player, misleading info

This is a great blu-ray player and the only one so far to play dvd-audio, so if that interests you then you are getting a two-for-one deal. However, as another reviewer noted (and I wish that I would have listened), this does NOT decode the new hd...

Misleading Panasonic...

Misleading Panasonic...

... some might call it lying. I called Panasonic after hours spent on my Yamaha AV receiver (RX-V863) and the BD10AK menus. The problem: I couldn't get my receiver to push Dolby True HD audio, only PCM or regular Dolby Digital through my 7.1...

Perfect

Own mine now for about a year. No problems and picture is awesome! Viewing on a 1080p Panasonic set. I did update the firmware a few months ago and it helped with loading some BD's. Note that some BD disc will be better quality than others. Not the...

Awesome BD player

Cost about a grand when we got it in 2006.

Got the player christmas 2006 and its worked great ever since. Connected to a sony 30"" (CRT) 1080i hdtv via HMDI and the picture is amazing. Looks great, stays cool. Its got lots of outputs... whatever you need pretty much. We use hdmi and an optical...

Rather slow with menus and stuff, but i guess this is a common problem for bd players. Also, the hinged mirror on the front of the box can get a bit annoying (although it does look cool)
