Panasonic DMP-BD45

The Panasonic DMP-BD45 is one of four new blu-ray players unveiled by Panasonic recently. The DMP-BD45 is the entry level model and comes equipped with a basic feature list at an attractive price.

Although the Panasonic DMP-BD45 is positioned as a basic entry level player, its video and audio performance is not something to be scoffed at. Although it did not break new grounds in performance, it sure did as an eco-friendly player. Furthermore,...

Panasonic DMP-BD45 blu-ray player

This is a good, entry-level Blu-ray player. It will also play CDs, DVD-R and DVD-RW discs. Further, it accepts SD cards. The unit is slim, at 2 inches high. Width is 17 inches and depth is slightly over 8 inches. It's also lightweight, at 4.2 pounds....

A nice, entry-level Blu-ray player. Easy on the pocket book. Great picture quality

It works.

I bought it as an entry-level Blu-Ray player. The load time is quick, just as it says; the tray closes, and within a few seconds the film is playing. I got it for $87 during the holidays, so I figured it was a pretty good deal on a decent player. It...

Great for the price!

The bottom line is: if you don't expect to much then you won't be dissapointed. You cannot expect this player to have all the features of the higher priced models. If you just want a simple player to play blu-rays and dvds then you won't be dissapointed.

This plays Blu-rays as expected

None for the price

Initial review of Panasonic DMP-BD45

Initial review of Panasonic DMP-BD45

In most cases it is premature to review any hardware item with such short and limited usage. However, it may be useful to others to know that my initial setup and usage of the DMP-BD45 was flawless. I merely took it out of the box and plug it into a...

Outstanding Blue-ray player

Outstanding Blue-ray player

I never knew what I was missing until I upgraded to this player. All Blu-ray discs load fast and look great. My older non-blu-ray DVDs are upgraded by the software to higher res just by using this system. I was resisting the technology change for a...
