Panasonic offers its fastest, highest performance Blu-ray player ever, with loads of features but one surprising omission.

Panasonic definitely has a winner this year in the DMP-BDT310 Networked Blu-ray 3D player. It offers fast disc loading, a nicely improved user interface, a solid selection of streaming sources and apps, and excellent audio and video performance. The...

Panasonic DMP-BDT310

Panasonic reaches for the Skype with its flagship 3D Blu-ray player, which brings a plethora of funky new features to the table.

Excellent 3D and 2D pictures ; Intuitive Operation ; Twin HDMI outputs

Fairly pricey ; Viera Cast content could be better ; 2D conversion is a mixed bag

If you’re sold on the idea of 3D and have a fairly sizeable budget, the DMP-BDT310 is one of the best players you can buy. The main attraction is the extensive feature list, which has been enhanced this year by the inclusion of Skype (if you can...

The quality runs through this 3D Blu-ray player like liquid gold – great picture, sound and features

Price ; twin HDMI outputs ; wi-fi ; superb 2D and 3D pictures ; sounds dynamic and exciting ; now has Viera Connect

‘Touch-Free’ disc drawer is a gimmick

Panasonic DMP-BDT310 review

Panasonic adds Skype and 3D conversion to its flagship Blu-ray player

Loads of features ; Intuitive OS ; Supreme picture quality ; Two HDMI outputs ; Built-in Wi-Fi

Viera Cast content ; Expensive Skype camera ; Unconvincing 3D conversion ; No built-in BD Live memory

The Panasonic DMP-BDT310 is the Japanese company's latest flagship 3D-ready Blu-ray player, taking everything that was great about last year's DMP-BDT300 and jazzing it up with a bunch of new features for 2011.

Panasonic DMP-BDT310 review

It might not be the cheapest Blu-ray player than you can buy, but Panasonic has built some clever features into the DMP-BDT310 that may just make it the player for some people.

If you've got an older HDMI 1.3 or earlier amp, but have a 3D TV, this is the player for you.

Panasonic DMP-BDT310 3D Blu-ray Player Review

AVForums runs Panasonic's top-end Blu-ray player through its paces.

Unadulterated Video Playback ; Fairly Speedy Load Times ; Dual HDMI Out ; Built in Wi-Fi ; Quiet in Operation ; Responsive Menus

Networking Experience is Not Great ; Vierra Cast instead of Vierra Connect ; Still Limited Support for Media Files ; Touch-Free Sensor (although it can be disabled)

Panasonic DMP-BDT310

The Panasonic DMP-BDT310 is a good solid (as in performance) BD player. I would like to see a little bit beefier package (I started out with a Panasonic DMP-BD30K) rather than the minimalist approach that Panasonic has taken. Performs well, (both 2-D &...

2 HDMI outs, Fast load times, easy setup

Light weight, I want a little more solid feel for a top of the line player

Fantastic Machine!

There are more options than I have had a chance to check out. I have an older Panasonic Blu-ray player for my Panasonic 50", but this has much more. I love the touch free sensor for opening and closing! I am interested in checking out the Skype feature.

Excellent Image Quality, Good Soundtrack Support, Good Connections, Easy Set-Up, Upgradeable
