Soooo sloooowww and awkward

Below average player. Net apps are nearly unusable thanks to the interface so don't count them in. If you need just something to stick the disk in and watch through the movie without touching any buttons other than pause and eject, then it's acceptable...

plays blu-ray movies (if you wouldn't whack it with a hammer while dragging through menus) ; starts playing when disk inserted ; Image quality is ok

sluggish and outdated interface written by mentally weak person that never heard of ergonomics ; awkward remote usage like when buttons have absolutely different and illogical functions depending on where are you at or what media you're playing ; poor...

Outdated firmware

No DLNA support, no upgrades since 2010 on any of the internet apps. Netflix is 1.0 (instant Que only) YouTube has a cache issue with playlist and favorites. I will never again purchase a Panasonic BD player. The Samsung I purchased before this one...

It plays BD's fine

Panasonic will not upgrade any of the 2010 Models

Miss leading info.

I called panasonic help line and they confirmed it does not play all regions after a 45minutes on the phone and them researching. Very disappointed in panasonic.

It works so far to a point

It does not play all regions of dvd's as it says

Not for DLNA or Streaming

I gave it 3 stars because it does play Blu-Ray fine, I would not recommend.

Does Play BLu-Ray fine, BD Live media can be a USB stick or SD card

About all it does good is Blu-Ray. Old versions of Internet Apps and Panasonic will not update any of the 2010 devices. I use to be a huge fan of Panasonic but I'm done now with the lack of continued support on devices. My Samsung BDP is older and I...

Falls short for lack of DIVX/XVID capability

I knocked off 2 eggs because of the lack of the media format playback. This was a BIG deal for me, as it was a major reason I bought this. True, I should have double-checked the capabilities, BUT, if you got a stereo in your car, would you feel the...

Good Blu-Ray playback, fast loading, USB and SD ports

USB and SD ports, which I mentioned in the PRO section, are made nearly useless by the fact they won't play BASIC video formats, such as DIVX/XVID ; Only a proprietary, expensive ($80) WIFI wireless dongle will work with this

Works great

It does not have wireless but I ran a wired connection to it and it immediately saw the network, downloaded, etc.

Looked like new, all parts in box. Connected easily, came right up. Quick to load and start - didn't feel slow compared to my normal DVD player ; Found and downloaded firmware update with no problem. Activated Netflix fine, saw my queue immediately

Regular DVDs really don't look any better than on my old DVD player. If anything, the 1080p upconvert seems to add a little noise. But oh well. Haven't watched a Blu-Ray yet ; Also as others mention, the Netflix app only shows your instant queue. You...

Great Value Buy

I would buy another of these since I have had good experiences with Antec over the years and this ps was no exception.

The unit arrived quickly and was well packaged. I was able to get it hooked up to my TV and ethernet just fine. Network found the unit quickly with no problem. I was able to do the firmware update with no problem. The Vieracast setup let me log onto my...

Why were there no batteries for the remote

BUY IT NOW!

I bought this more for Netflix and YouTube than I did Blue-ray. This was an AWESOME deal. I paid $59 after adding a Newegg $25 coupon code to my cart. On top of that, I got the The Fighter Blue-ray DVD for Free. This was a GREAT deal. I expected...

Internet features are: A.m.a.z.o.n, Netflix, YouTube, Weather, Bloomberg, Picasa, Twitter, several others AFTER firmware update

Interface seems a little slow, but I still wouldn't consider it a con ; The YouTube interface could be done more like a Sony where the searches are saved, but still not complaining

Had to manually update the Firmware

Although it correctly detected my hardwired network settings, it was unable to connect to the internet to update the FW (1.23 installed) ... Viera Cast gave me the same error message, "Cannot connect. Please confirm network connection and settings." I...

Great price, looks like new and came with a decent-looking HDMI cable

None so far
