Plays mkv from DVD or USB media. Auto on/off with HDMI Integrated with our Panasonic TV remote, so didn't even need the remote that came with it!

Good piece of kit, and can't beat it for the price. Sharp picture, with good depth of field. The sound quaility of good even on 5.1.

The remote is Spartan, and it takes a few seconds to load movies.

Philips BDP3200

Quiet when playing discs, stylish, playback of .ts files from USB stick works well.

Remote very directional and unresponsive. Would be even better if it had DLNA and iplayer like on the BDP 5200 but at this price it's still good value.

Sleek design, good picture, and you can even stick your flash drive in there with movies on it if you have not got a disc to watch.

The remote feels a bit like cheap plastic. Slight delay when opening to either remove or put in a new disc.

Philips BDP3200

Excellent DivX MKV support via USB, good picture and audio. Cheap player which offers excellent value for money

Remote isn't the most reliable, seems very weak and have to press buttons hard. Menu selection is slow. Shame it isn't multi-region.

Easy to use, straightforward. Excellent upscaling of DVD to 1080p - very impressed.

Disc tray makes a bit of a noise by sliding in and out. Not too bad by any means.
