The player comes with the best of Pioneer elite. It has high end 7.1 decoders and can play DTS master audio and other great sound decoding formats. Some see the lower version 1.0 of this player as a disadvantage but I think that for what a player is...

Very good quality, 7.1 decoding, dts master audio, dolby true hd, HDMI 1.3a, great looks and performance

A bit pricy but still I think it is a fair price for the type of player
