Bought this because it offered everything one could want at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to its specs. Remote cannot switch unit on and off (there is no standby mode). When we tried a USB stick, it showed the folders but none...

cheap light and small

no standby mode, remote can't switch unit on/off, universal remote doesn't work, access to jpegs and mp3 files on usb unreliable, poor screen display of menus

Bargain DVD

 

I just bought this machine. Was looking for a 'cheap' machine (<£30) to put in the bedroom so I could catch up with some DVDs which were piling up. There is no shortage of inexpensive machines on the market but I could not believe the spec on offer...

bought this item in November 2009, because it was a cheap 1080p DVD player, the reality is the up-scaling causes the video and audio to go out of sinc, the controls are very un-user friendly, it take a long time to load discs, and it's now February and...
