This Blu-ray player has an annoying front-panel cover, but offers terrific color performance and even has streaming video options.

Very good imaging on Blu-ray discs ; Netflix and Pandora streaming

On the other hand, the BD-P1600 didn't fare well with standard-definition DVDs, which the player must upconvert to 1080p

The Samsung BD-P 1600 is a Blu-ray player, on the market since spring 2009. Half a year after its release, the player's price has dropped significantly to around just 140 GBP.

"Used Less Than 20 times,Quit Working"

Look at other brands.

Takes forever to boot up,takes forever to read a disc.Thats the good points.

It quit playing blu ray disc's 2 days after the warranty elapsed,and then died all together a month after that.Typical Samsung junk and service.
