This product is great value, after I managed to install it. Old TV new connections. Working fine now,. Good buy

Small and light it works fine. However picture compared with PS3 dvd drive is noticeably poorer. As in the contrast is less defined, 'greyer' than should be.

Well ....yes blu ray players may have the slight edge for quality, but.... believe me!! when i say this unit gives superb near hd pictures even on my worst dvds it looks as if you are there in the film now alot of people may dissagree but i notice it...

Since I own a Blu Ray player, I can't get my outside regions to play on it. So I've always had good luck with Toshiba, I purchased this out of faith. It does the job which I need (play my region 1 Friday Night Light DVDs which my Blu Ray can't)...

A bit noisy when it loads but so far so good. Bought to replace another dvd player with similar specs that was dead in two days. Multi region hack works fine.
