Absolutely avoid this one!

First of all, I've worked with computers for many years, so this wasn't a case of not being able to understand/follow directions or figure things out. I researched this unit online and saw that consumers either rated it very highly ... or at the bottom...

The price was very attractive ($138 vs $198 for a Sony at the same store) and it offers some good features ... if it worked properly

Very poor connectivity to WiFi, inept customer support, miserable remote control unit

Not a reliable player

My second unit has failed me lasting 6 months vs 3 this time. Same issue of disappearing audio and a new one where it skips ahead with no interaction. Going with another brand as I no longer trust Vizio

I liked the initial price

Audio stops 30 min into movie ; Poor Quality ; No advanced replacement option, have to wait weeks for repairs or replacement ; Poor remote range

Not a great Product, it's pretty bad

You can scrap it for parts

when playing DVDs, the audio is off and I have to stop the dvd and start it again. Very slow operating. Sometimes freezes and I have to unplug and plug it back in

Disappointing

This unit will be replaced at my first convenience. Playing BD movies is not supposed to be an angry experience!

The 1080p picture is fine

Weak audio through the HDMI output. Unusable remote control -- reliable range is about 8 feet. Aspect selection on upscaled pictures is unreliable; some DVDs simply can't be played

You can do much better for $150-$200

Got this at Wal-mart for $168. Initial impressions were good out of the box - nice aesthetics and solid feeling. The image quality for both Blu-Ray and DVD was just sub-par. It may have been the source material, but I played at least 10 different discs...

Physically substantial and well made ; Nice looking enclosure

Vizio VBR100

great 3d blu ray player for such a low price, goes great with my 42 real 3d vizio tv and vizio high def soundbar.

great 3d picture, good remote thats easy to use with a lot of good features

sometimes you have to power off and then on if it makes high pitch schreach noise, wireless internet router can't be too far away
