Good Solid ATA

It could do with more FXS ports and Gigabit ethernet, but hey, you get what you pay for.

Cisco makes a well priced, relatively feature-rich little ATA which is perfect for converting older analog phones to use in VoIP situations. This isn't something I would recommend for large phone systems such as when trying to adapt an entire analog...

I would not recommend using this to adapt old analog fax machines, the calls typically get dropped part way through and multi-page faxes will drop pages like crazy. I recommend a software VoIP faxing solution instead.

Low end SPA

If you're tech savvy and don't "need" to utilize the WAN "pass through" on this unit, for the price it's a cheap solution. If you're a novice, you will have a difficult time configuring this device.

Cheap, highly configurable, size.

This unit performance is very slow, it has a hard time if you try to use as a internet pass through barely handling 40mbps. Configuration for simple and basic SIP was difficult to say the least, had to read multiple forum and q&a just to figure out...

Not Impressed

Would not order from this supplier again. Taking the chance on ordering parts without ALL items included in the packaging would make the purchase worthless

price and shipping was acceptable

two of the three ata's ordered did not have all the components for the power cord, which makes the power adapter for the device useless. With out the insert for the wall plug these devices are useless. Luckily we had extra ac adapters of the same amp...

Unparalled Quality & Stability

This switch has operated with 22 connections for 3 years without requiring any configuration modifications, reboots, et cetera. I put this in my home with two wireless PoE access points, several servers with various network configurations and...

Switch hardware is simple and straightforward. Web interface is intuitive and appears as effective as CLI. 5 year hardware warranty (never needed it - 3 years in).

None.

great drop on switch

great unmanaged gigabit switch. Just works

two rows of ports . as it is rack mountable it would be nice for a larger package with only one row of ports.

So far, pretty good

To quote one of my favorite games: "To the untrained, this beast is a junker. to the trained, this junker's a beast" People tend to associate cheap with ineffective. Not so much in this case. If you know what you're doing, then the ASA can shine bright...

Low cost and effective. It is a little hard to configure (not for the faint of heart) but there are tons of youtube videos, resources and blogs about this firewall. I got 2, one for home and one for a clients office, and so far both are working well

Keep in mind, a year subscription to CISCO SmartNet is advised. The newer IOS is recommended for all the features that make this firewall shine, and you can't get that without SmartNet. The good news is, even the smartnet sub is only about 10%-15% of...

Great Switch

I would buy it again no doubt, and recommend it.

8 ports PiE with two non-PoE ports to spare/uplink. Lots of power for devices. I can add a few more phones without hesitation. No fans, so it is quiet.

Power brick, makes for messy power cabling. Nagios does not recognize it correctly.

Power + layer 2 switch 375 w PoE

Overall these are a great bang for the buck. if you need a 10 port PoE switch I highly recommend these.

PPoE 375 w total power available for PoE. Layer 2 / Layer 3 support fairly easy to user menus

have to manually save the running setup to the start-up setup, becomes really annoying after a while. would like the option to automatically save the running setup w/o have to remember to do this.
