NetGear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400

It's a bit hard to categorize the Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400. On one hand it has the stellar performance and features of a high-end wireless router; on the other, it doesn't support Gigabit Ethernet, a lack that is only found in...

The Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400 supports true dual-band and offers fast wireless performance and long range. It has a useful set of networking features, such as Guest zone, network storage, traffic meter, and USB external hard-drive...

The Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400 doesn't offer Gigabit Ethernet and its network storage performance could be better.

The Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400 is a great dual-band router for any home at an affordable price. Its lack of Gigabit Ethernet might steer enthusiasts away, however.

Review: Netgear N600 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router

This speedy, reliable dual-band router is great to use, although not so great to configure.

While some of the setup and configuration will leave you scratching your head, in action the WNDR3700 is a thing of beauty. The Wireless Protected Setup (WPS), invoked via a button on the front of the unit, worked great. Both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz ...

"Junk and tech support is crap"

Absolutely none

I never could get rid of the NAT Is moderate on XBOX live. Did everything XBOX live recommended and tried calling tech, What and absurd joke they cant even transfer a call let alone help with setting this thing up.

"Get familiar with the unplug to reset drill"

I owned this just long enough to think about writing a good review. Then the connection issues started. I even payed the 40 nine smackers for tech support and it worked! For 3 weeks. I have found that CNet often has a high rating for something only to...

Fast, when it works

must reset as much as 2 times a day

"You get better odds in Vegas. This is a total crapshoot."

I have always used Linksys in the past, but the current one is NetGear WNDR3400 v.1 and it will be the LAST Netgear I ever use.

Works great at first, then degrades to the point where you are ready to barbecue it and the company who sells it.

"Stay away from this router!"

In conclusion it was a great router for the first few months. After that I had nothing but trouble with it. I will never buy another Netgear router again.

It started off really fast

After a few months I was unable to connect to it.

"Piece of junk after one month"

Router lasted one month, replaced with a linksys and everything works again. netgear will not issue an RMA because i can not troubleshoot the dead router by accessing it's setup does one access a setup page when the computer can not connect...

Works right out of the box, decent included software, pretty quick even without gigalan.

Died after one month, strong signal, no connect on any laptop. tried everything humanly possible and nothing worked, netgear support is the worse on the planet.

"My Netgear Router is unable to connect to the internet"

My main problem is the fact that the Router, both my original purchase as well as the replacement (RMA) I received do not work. It worked fine for a month and it was great, then it just stopped working. I have an old Lynks router and it works fine...

Faster when it works, but does not work much.

-Unstable connection or no connection at all

"Easy toe tip worked really well for one month!"

Nice device. Short lfespan. I replaced with another brand. I have another dead router to add to my collection. Theis one being honored as having the shortest life san. No thunderstorms or power outages.

It was really easy to setup without additional software. Handle the dual band really well and had good single. Strength. Installed at aother family members house. I was impressed given the price.

The router lasted. One month. And then quit. No amount of coaxing could even it get it to point on being able to connect to an Ethernet port. Worked with netgear support for half an hour. They agreed the device., I can't wait for amreplacment.
