Solid and works with DD-WRT

By chinmas (newegg.com)

It would be nice if Netgear released a solid dual-band N router that used DD-WRT, but for now this will do.

I got the v2 so it was an extremely easy task to update the firmware to the much praised DD-WRT. I've used that firmware for over a year now, and my last router that died worked the best using it. Make sure if you want to upgrade to DD-WRT that you read t...

never used stock firmware

I received the V2 and it works fine with DD-WRT. Seems quite stable. Decent draft N router that supports DD-WRT. I heard that the performance is quite good too

Fairly Large. About twice the size of a typical router excluding these days. Built-in antenna may limit expandability. Someone mentioned that its range is not very good but not a problem for me
