TP-Link TL-WR841ND

TP-Link's TL-WR841ND is a no-frills router that offers 802.11n draft 2.0 wireless at a relatively cheap price. Its wireless configuration options aren...

Price point, fairly fast throughput

Bandwidth speeds decrease dramatically at 15-20m, restricted configuration options

If you need a cheap, close range router that’s 802.11n-capable, then TP-Link's TL-WR841ND is a viable option. Although its configuration options are somewhat limited, it's quite speedy.

Fast, but setting it up to work is too complicated

Buy the Buffalo WHR-G300N instead. WHR-G300N is faster and user-friendly to configure.

Fast WiFi router

Wireless, Could say WireLOW price

If you need some simple wireless connection for handheld devices and do not have to much area to cover, for the price you cant beat this unit

Does what it says on the box! I have my gaming PC and laptop hardwired. It gives me solid connection. The wireless i use for tablets, phones and the girlfriends laptop. It works great. Speed test show low lag on the wireless and still gives me the...

After disconnect the unit or turning it off it takes 2 on/off cycles to get it to connect to then internet. After that its solid and doesnt drop anything

Good Basic Budget Setup

Basic inexpensive wireless router that so far has done well. I like TP-Link products and look for them above most other brands. I would buy this one again for any other upcoming needs. A note of interest..I didn't get the most current version but the...

Easy to get going and onboard software has nice options and layout. Very inexpensive and good enough for my needs for now

Range is only so-so for me with 56% on my laptop in the very next room, but no drops or delays so no real issues there. Fixed antennas are fixed so be careful with those, no replacement option. You will need to do a firmware upgrade but no worries...

TP-LINK TL-WR841N

Works great, a breeze to set up and considerably faster than what I upgraded from

The plug emit a horrible, high-pitched squeal that aggravates my tinnitus like mad. Need to see about getting a new plug. The sound is so bad, I had to knock off two eggs

I really really really really really REALLY hate this product. Constantly drops connection or the connection is so slow, I have to restart the router. Even restarting does not help. Of all routers....this has to be the worst even after looking up...
