The Aiptek Action HD GVS offers a wide range of features for a compact camcorder small enough to fit in your pocket, purse or briefcase. We can recommend this product for people of all skill levels for its optical zoom and 1080p HD recording ability....

This mini camcorder's 3-inch LCD screen, 1080p HD video capability and image stabilizing technology are its best features

Image stabilization technology only works in 720p HD quality or lower, low-light recording is cumbersome and an SD card is not included with purchase

The Aiptek Action HD GVS has good basic features for amateur videographers on-the-go but its drawbacks bring it down relative to the competition.

Great entry level mini camcorder...Looks great, feels great in your hand, great size. You can flip from Photos to Video very easy. Besides a flash card, it comes ready to use out of the box. Software & Menu easy to use

Still deciding what looks best the 720-60 FPS or the 1080P at 30 FPS. My 7 year old Canon D-10 MDV has better clearity. Video looks great in viewfinder, not so great elsewhere. Buttons too stiff, causes the camera to shake

Lightweight, Hi-res video

Very soft video, stubborn autofocus, weak stabilizer, mic input doesnt actually accept input from mics, short unpredictable battery life, high pitch squeal at anything above voice level volume, especially anything outdoors with any sort of air movement

Don't bother with this garbage

 

This was replacement for an earlier defective unit. This one had the same problem: the HDMI port doesn't work. Everything else works as advertised.
