As generally with Sony products this is an excellent piece of kit. If I'd had the budget I would have gone with an HD unit. This is even more poignant when one edits your work. So, think very carefully before buying if you can afford an HD unit!

I have to say its cheaper elsewhere...and my purchased product is outside amazon...

I have to say its cheaper elsewhere...and my purchased product is outside amazon... Now about the product- The picture quality is very good even in low light conditions...zoom is good.. The handycam fits nicely on the palm...very easy to use in one...
