Long zoom lens; decent image stabilization; fast autofocus; shutter-priority exposure mode.

Fair-to-middling overall video quality; poor still photos.

A simple DVD camcorder with decent performance and image quality, the DC220 won't blow you away, but it also will not let you down.

To cut right to the quick, there is far too much effort expended trying to work with this camera. I've used a lot of different consumer and "prosumer" level dv cameras and this thing is a nightmare. Probably the most glaring issue is the warning...
