Good points: traditional camcorder shape means fiddly for quick shot, better for long shots. Powerful zoom and excellent lens. Drawbacks: SD video looks very poor in comparison to HD. Very chunky. Seems outdated. Still photos very poor.

I wanted a small, easily manageable camera and this one fits the bill perfectly. I am not a technophobe so was not looking for technical brilliance just a camera that would record family and friends, this camera does just this and does it well.

This camera has a decent battery life, good video and sound quality (particularly the former) and does everything a non-professional could want. And for the price it comes at, that's pretty impressive.

I was very disapointed with this video camera, mainly with its build quality its almost like the quality of a kids toy. I find the buttons very small difficult to use in my big hands. The video images taken are acceptable but poor in low light
