Canon Legria HF R16 review

By no means a spectacular camcorder, the Canon Legria HF R16 is also by no means a dud. If you can find it for a good price, you'll be pleased by its features and usability.

Comfortable to hold ; Easy to use ; 8GB of built-in storage ; 20x optical zoom ; Video snapshots

Weak photo quality ; Poor low-light performance ; No HDMI cable supplied

The Canon Legria HF R16 is by no means a bad camcorder, but it's obvious where Canon has compromised in order to strike a balance between features, quality and value. The trouble is, the HF R16 just isn't that cheap, particularly if you buy it on the...

I chose the Canon Legria HF 16 after reading good reviews on picture Quality and I was not disappointed the colour and sharpness were brilliant. I liked the on/off button being located central to the back of the case rather than the more common top...

Wicked Camera

Awesome camera. For outside filming and indoor filming with good light, it can't be beaten for the price. Auto Focus is immense and the number of settings make it very nimble and versatile.
