The LCD screen is visible in buight sun.And the grip is poor ,startbutton in the wrong plaice. It needs aviewfinder ; software out of date

LIGHT WEIGHT - GOOD BATTERY LIFE

DIFFICULT TO HOLD - LITTLE FINGER GET IN FRONT OF LENSE- HANDBOOK DIFFICULT TO FOLLOW - IMMAGE POOR -PARTICULARLY FLESH TINTS -PREFER MY OLD SONY WITH ITS DISCS

easy to use, light, small in size v/good in lowlight situations really impressed and good value - my first camcorder

compact easy to carry and use

on a recent holiday to florida it was so annoying /frustating to be totally unable follow the image ; on screen due to bright sunlight.I really missed the eyepiece as an option when filming in bright sunlight

As generally with Sony products this is an excellent piece of kit. If I'd had the budget I would have gone with an HD unit. This is even more poignant when one edits your work. So, think very carefully before buying if you can afford an HD unit!...

easy to record and view on camera

camera view icons to small to easily see to delect to view ; cannot easily find out how to delete sections of recording ; cannot find out how to add sound over and music recording ; fader selection only holds for one recording , ie stop recording and...

Very light and easy to carry

Difficult to see the image on the screen in bright sunlight

it is slightly hard to delete a video however it means you dont delete them by mistake
