Jazz® Deluxe Video Camcorder Kit

I saw someone else give it one star but he just got a defective unit and expected everything to be taken care of in a day (seriously?).

The Jazz HDV 189 Camcorder did not work properly, right out of the box. If the camcorder does power on, the unit won't come up. If it does come up it won't go into menu logic, if it does go into the menu it may or may not follow a menu path. It just...

I have used the video a total of about 10 minutes and have already gone through 3 sets of batteries. I cannot leave the batteries in the camcorder.
