JVC Everio GZ-HD10

video at full HD. It records at 1,440 by 1,080 interlaced with a 4:3 aspect ratio at 60 fps. Like an upscaling DVD player, which can make standard DVDs look more like Blu-ray but can't quite make them comparable to the real thing, the GZ-HD10 outputs...

Comfortable and lightweight. Records to a 40GB built-in hard drive. Includes full PC software suite for video editing and burning Blu-ray discs. Features HDMI-out

Does not record at full 1080p HD resolution. Video is prone to purple fringing

Despite some flaws, JVC's Everio GZ-HD10 is a decent starter camcorder choice if you're not hung up on capturing the highest-resolution video possible. What's more, it comes bundled with video-editing and Blu-ray-burning software.

Jvc Everio Gz-hd10

The JVC Everio GZ-HD10 is the lower model of the trio of camcorders that JVC released together, the GZ-HD40, the GZ-HD30, and the GZ-HD10. The GZ-HD10 comes equipped with a 200x digital zoom, and a 40GB HDD.

The reviews that were found commented on the smaller size of the hard drive and the inability to record a lot of video on this camera. They thought the camera performed well and they really enjoyed having an HDMI input on the camera

JVC Everio GZ-HD10

This camcorder has HD recording. Has built in lens cover. Very nice image for outside. Has nice audio internal audio. Very easy to use once you have learned how to do everything. You can record for a very long time

The HD is 1080i which is not even as good as 720p, might as well get a flip. Cannot shot in the dark. Battery life is not long enough for my liking

This is a good camera for the price.

This is a great camera for the price. You are able to get some really clear video but you need to know how to use it. There are some things that could use imporvement. It definitely has potential. I would recomment this to someone who wants a hd camera...

It is nice to be able to manually change the shutter speed and things like that. It is compact. The built in hard drive is a plus. Micro SD slot is great to store stills

Camera turns on when you open the screen. The battery does not last long at all. You will need to get an extra one. The quality isnt quite there in darker lighting

Great HD camera at a great price

Even though this unit is refurbished you would be hard pressed to tell, it practically looks brand new. I basically wanted a good day time video hd camera at a good price . if you want video samples there are great ones on you tube. A comparable unit...

excellent daylight video, small light weight, avchd format, CMOS sensor, 51/2 hours of high definition best quality recording time. great price

battery only lasts for 1 hour(but you can get one after market which will last 3 hours), average low light recording quality, only 10 x zoom. poor editing software

JVC GZ-HD10us Camcorder

You basically have to use the packaged editing program to edit your footage unless you use a (HD capable) capture card/device (I have this), use a .MTS file converter program (I've tried this) or export unedited footage from packaged program then edit...

Like the Previous review poster, this is my first time buying a re-certified item ; (online) and I thought that if there was anyplace to trust with a purchase like this, it ; was Newegg! I'm happy with this purchase, nice size, great video/picture...

Doesn't automatically make .AVI or MPEG-4 video files, uses .MTS files (?) No night vision

More than expected

I find it a bit difficult importing into AE or other video editor.Camera does come with a basic video editor.I managed to back-up (copy) videos on to my 1TB HDD but I couldn't write a DVD directly using the camera.

It was my first time buying a re-certified item.I'm glad I did ; Great for a family camcorder. If you want a professional one look somewhere else.Auto-gain, focus, work great and colors are great. If you use it in good light environment, you'll be...

Not full HD as other mentioned

Taking vidoe with this camcorder is super easy, anyone could do it. And saving video to your computer is simple since the included software walks you through the entire process. I made a dvd of video I took at my nephew's 1st birthday and the quality...
