The Memmoir Gold will suit someone with very basic video capture needs only, with poor key features posing as obstacles for anyone with serious video recording in mind.

Decent video image ; Mostly solid build quality ; Extremely affordable

Autofocus is problematic ; Zooming is clunky and inaccurate ; Still images are abysmal ; No external audio input

For the money, you get an HD-shooting camcorder that would suit someone with very basic recording needs. If you imagine your usage would be limited to family picnics, seaside holidays or police-taunting ransom messages, then the Millennius Memmoir Gold...

Millennius Memmoir Gold

Having had this camera for a while now, I have tested it in different scenarios, and I am not pleased. Whilst the video quality seems OK, I did not like the zoom speed.

Overall value for price range

Autofocus is terrible, still photos are poor quality

Millennius Memmoir Gold

It is fantastic this camcorder and is on same level as the big brands I think. I really cant see that much differences. If this had Samsung on the camcorder you guys wouldnt even pick on anything.

quality is great, its not aslaggy in zoom as cnet reviewers say it is

you cannot charge the battery and use the camera at the same time, it has an external charger for the battery
