Offers a good feature set, three 540 kilopixel CCDs, top-loading, good handling and very good video picture quality

Fixed viewfinder not easy to use, manual controls a bit confusing whilst recording, DSC image quality disappointing

It's a very good, modestly priced 3CCD camcorder that's great for beginners and upgraders. Buy a separate digi stills camera though!

Excellent video, easy to use, very good sound, tough, limited manual override

 

An excellent camera with very good video and sound quality. Lacks some of the bells and whistles of dearer models, but very easy to use and very impressive output for the general user or serious amateur.

I was truly surprised by the quality from a "mid level" camera

This is my first camcorder, although i have used camcorders from other people such as friends and family.

3CCD (obviously), clarity of picture, low low price

just be aware that, if supplied by pixmania, you will recieve the manual in French and the plugs are european. you will get a new uk plug but will have to refit to wires. therefore it is difficult to know how the unit works or if i am happy as i cant...
