I have the PVL-858. I like the camera, loaded with features, but we live on the east coast, and every summer that I try to use the camera, I get the message "Dew Detected" and the thing shuts off automatically. The days are humid here, and I can't...

Great camcorder, but the 750 is very similar

Nice camcorder, but the 750 model is *very, very* similar. The750 is also $ . . . cheaper. However, if you want to spend a littlemore for a slightly more powerful cam, get this one.

Theres no point spending money on the 850 when the 750 is the same thing cheaper
