Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Power Edition review

Sometimes technology scares even us. And that's like an arachnologist being afraid of a particularly big spider. But even so, there are some things about technology that are creepy. Take for example that walking military cow thing the Americans have...

Bloody good fun, reasonably easy to control, fast and agile,

Expensive, improved battery life is still a bit short, losing it is a constant worry

When we started we asked if this was the sort of thing we'd buy. The answer is "hell yes", but with a couple of important caveats. First, it's not cheap at £300, and while it's very well built, there's always the chance that you'll send it off into the...

Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Power Edition

This drone's improved battery life lets you take to the skies with added staying power.

Hugely entertaining at first ; iOS and Android compatible ; Integrated HD camera

Glitchy app ; Expensive ; Shortlived entertainment lifespan

Controlled via an app, there are a selection of touchscreen based command options available. With joy pad style controls the standard, you can also choose to use your smartphone’s accelerometer to move the drone forward and back, or side to side. An...

PARROT AR.Drone 2.0 Power Edition

My only gripe is that I bought the `Power` model to get longer flight time but I only get about 15mins and got only one battery, when I thought I would get two. But its still great value and I definitely recommend it.

PARROT AR.Drone 2.0 Power Edition

Easy to control and use.

Cogs, drive shaft and cross section very flimsy gone through 2 sets already, costing a lot to replace each time.

PARROT AR.Drone 2.0 Power Edition

Easy to fly

Doesn't have the rang it say it has, meant to go 50m away but I could only get 10m out of it

PARROT AR.Drone 2.0 Power Edition

Very nice, good looking and very easy to control indoors in big enough space.

Sometimes can be unpredictable with just suddenly going up but only now and again.

PARROT AR.Drone 2.0 Power Edition

Great fun to use once you get used to it

Very disappointed that the software issues with iOS won't allow you to record or take photos. Waiting eagerly for an update
