WARNING - doesn't work with Macs

Don't buy this if you intend editing your footage on a Mac. If you shoot in 16:9 (which most will want to do) the files will get squashed to 4:3 when transferred to your Mac. There is no way to get iMovie, Final Cut or any other Mac video editing...

Samsung's SMX-F33 8GB Flash Memory Camcorder is an ideal little camcorder for those who want to record their memories for online sharing, but don't want a high price tag. More sophisticated than simple point and shoot camcorders, the SMX-F34 gives you some advanced features, such as Face Detection and editing software for easy uploading to YouTube, giving you more control over your video. The nuts and bolts of the camcorder include a 8GB internal flash memory that allows for up to 4 hours of 720 x 480 H.264 standard def video storage. You can enjoy up to 3 hours of uninterrupted recording thanks to the extended battery life. Should you need more storage space, SD/SDHC/MMC memory cards can be used in the expansion memory slot. Other features, such as the 2.7" LCD and the 42x Intelli-zoom give you excellent tools for composing your shots with accuracy and clarity. In addition, the Hyper Digital Image Stabilizer and 3D noise reduction work to keep your video clean and jitter-free. The SMX-F33 has a 8GB internal flash memory that allows for up to 4 hours of recording time. Should you need extra recording space the expansion slot accepts SD/SDHC/MMC memory cards. The 1/6" CCD image sensor on the F34 gives you 720 x 480 H.264 format standard definition video and 800 x 600 digital stills. The Schneider lens features 34x optical zoom for up-close video that distortion free. It also features the enhanced 42x Intelli-zoom for even closer shots without the distortion that is common with digital zoom. The 2.7" LCD display gives you an accurate platform on which to compose and playback your images. The SMX-F33 doubles as a digital still camera, giving you 800 x 600 photos. The Hyper D.I.S. in the F33 works to keep your video free of the jars and jitters of handheld shooting. The included CyberLink MediaShow4 software enables fast and painless uploading to YouTube for sharing your memories.
