Decent camcorder

A lot of nice features for the price

Feels a little fragile, and if you are not using manual focus, auto-focus is pretty slow

Consumer review by:

Nice, lightweight build. Good video quality

To begin with, turning it on is really slow. You have to wait 10 seconds for it to turn on, then you have to manually open the lens shutter. Once it is on, it is still at the zoom you were at when you turned it off, so you may ... Expand full review

The camera comes in and out of sleep very fast. The zoom operates at a reasonable speed too. It plays on the new Windows Media Player (.mp4 file format). Can operate in very very low light, although a flashlight is recommended

If used to view it while it is still in its .mp4 format, small lines appear on your screen. This doesnt happen on the included software, which is built into the camera. The zoom is too fast for the auto focus, so if you zoom in too fast the auto focus tak

Fairly inexpensive, light weight, uses cheap SDHC memory, good batter life

Poor video quality, frustrating settings, did I mention poor video quality

Nice Entry Level Camcorder

YelveMaster...I think your problem with the image stabilization is due to a basic inability to read. Go to the manual and look up, "Digital Imaging Stabilization. I have often found that reading the manual can be very helpful. It also doesn't make you...

Nice little camera...not a lot of bells and whistles, but a good starter camera

Interlacing...of course, if you are buying a low end camera like this, you most likely don't know anything about interlacing
