If you don't know much about Sanyo's Xacti series of camcorders, blame the manufacturer's lack of popularity in the United States or perhaps the nontraditional upright body design. Their latest high definition model, the VPC-HD2000, is as worthy as ...
Sanyo has provided a number of features that will interest experienced videographers. There's no viewfinder, but you have a microphone input, headphone output, and accessory shoe. The manual controls are surprisingly robust, including an ISO/gain ...
Having witnessed much fanfare and enthusiasm (from Sanyo admittedly) at its recent UK press launch, naturally we're interested to see whether it performs better than its merely average predecessors. Of course, performance has to be weighed against ...
Having said all of the above, the Sanyo Xacti HD2000 is easy to use and, despite our reservations, what appears a rather simple gadget on the face of it becomes progressively more complex and appealing as you peel away the layers. For the moment it's ...

the only cons i can think of is to transfer stuff of the memory card you either have to have a card reader or hook the dock up. because there is no usb output on the camera itself. but other than that nothing that i can think of
The Sanyo Xacti HD2000 is truly the benchmark in high definition, offering 1920 x 1080 pixels, and 60 fields per second to record crystal clear and smooth motion for videos. These highly advanced Sanyo Xacti dual cameras not only offer the regular 1080i (interlaced) format, recording at 60 frames per second, but with the Sanyo proprietary CMOS engine, recording is possible in 1080p (progressive) format - this means the world's first dual camera recording at a full 60 frames per second.
