Bought two of these to record presentations. The zoom is ridiculous. 65x zoom...From 30ft away you could read the fine print on a business card.

Very Straight forward video cam. Compact, Extremely light weight. Powers on and opens shutter when opening the viewfinder. Viewfinder/screen very responsive to real-time video. 1 minute of video was about 35mb on HD settings. Plugs in and opens...

Should come with a case... nothing fancy, but something. Fixed storage, keep this in mind. I won't need to record for more than an hour so this wasn't an issue for me. Option for external memory card too but that doesn't help mid-record
