Its a short lived fading technology with no real future, hence the price and the mid quality footage. Great for the kids to learn about cameras and recording media. remove the Sony name and its worth barely $100 something to consider when buying low...

Low cost camera with superior optics from Zeis definitely a preferred brand as well as a reputation of longevity.

Its sony old DV cam with a DVD recorder drive attached. DVD drives are far from efficient, any SD camera beats the DVD purpose and HDD cameras are the be all end all of storage media. DVD-+R disks are expensive and usually require finalising to even...

Great buy. This thing is so easy to use and has plenty of features to do the fancy shots. Have dropped it onto concrete (accident of course), and no problems resulting. Cannot really fault it, although you need to buy DVD's you can re record with which...

Great camera thoroughly recommend. Easy to use, great features, especially the easy fade in fade out function. Ease of use unless you want to do tricky shots, then the features came into their own.

None I can find!

The Cannon 705 I own was bought for $800 nearly 2 years ago. I have no problems with the machine at all. Its been very easy to use for novices like me. The formating and recording onto the mini disc could not be any simpler. You can use normal mini...

I would say buy it if you dont have very much money. This would be good to carry around all day though. I mean this could fit in my backpack right so there you go right.

this a good camera for a good price. Its has a good quality to it and is not that expensive. You know you like it when it does not cost that much money. Everybody likes things cheaper that have a good quality to them. That is a good thin am i right....

This does not come with a tripod and does not look like it is break proof. I live in a house with six people so this would not be good aroung people who break a lot of stuff. If im right then what is the big deal right. Oh well.

It is really easy to use. I bought mine so i could keep the kids memorable times and not having to use bulky videos as have had to do with old one. Very simple to use no need to read the manual unless there is something thats out of the ordinary you...

this was purchased mainly for me to get footage of the kids at school and in particular on their motor bikes, very easy to use and the menus are pretty straight forward even my mum could use it and she isnt up to date with all this type of stuff

at first i didnt like the fact that you could only get a 1 hour dvd but then was informed that you can use long play so it extended the dvd to approx 2 hours which in the end was good

It is really easy to use. I bought mine in vietnam after my husband dropped our other and with not much time to mess around the store owner gave me a quick even 10 minute lesson and I had learnt the basics of how to use it. Its small and portable and...

I loved the simplicity of the camera. soooo easy to use and gives a very good quality film, with many features.

Yeah I could only find mini dvds with only 1 hour recording time, which means you only have 30 mins recording each side. Bit of a pain when your in the middle of filming something and u need to stop to turn the disk.

Good Camera pretty easy to use only problems are short recording times on DVD's & the microphone on bottom of unit which can pick up mechanism noise I see the new models now have Mic's on top.
